Software Development Product Owner
About the job:
Here at PDQ.com, we have two desktop applications: PDQ Deploy and PDQ Inventory. These applications are used by over 100,000 system administrators worldwide. We also have web services in support of our operations, such as marketing, knowledge base, and more.
We have been pretty successful with our development, but we are still growing. Most recently, we started to implement Scrum. We are seeking a proven product owner for SaaS web products.
Essential Job Functions/Requirements:
Work with stakeholders to develop and articulate a product vision.
Analyze and document functional specifications, requirements, workflows, and business processes.
Preparing, sorting, and prioritizing work into a backlog that flows.
Driving and focusing release / sprint planning.
Presenting and advocating the product to stakeholders and within the company.
Observing, learning, and analyzing the IT administration market.
Interfacing with customers to identify opportunities and pain points.
Regularly updating stakeholders on development progress.
Sharing new features and insights with the company regarding the product.
Participating in regular Scrum meetings.
Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
Set deadlines and monitor the progress of projects.
Create product roadmaps in conjunction with sales, marketing, and other relevant stakeholders.
Act as a knowledge expert for internal and external software products.
Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement.
Assist with updates to documentation (including user documentation and training materials).
Keep the team focused on maximizing business value.
Have 2-3 years of technical experience as a product owner of a SaaS solution; you understand the importance of SLA, redundancy, high availability, capacity, security.
Have experience with Agile Scrum.
Be approachable and respond timely to the needs of the team.
Be proactive and highly self-motivated.
Take ownership of your work.
Have a strong attention to detail.
Excel at time management and organization.
Have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Have the ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
Scrum Alliance certification (CSPO, A-CSPO, CSP)
ICAgile Certification (ICP-BVA, ICP-EPO, ICE-PO)
Experience with Windows Active Directory, HTML, CSS, and OOP principles.

Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
G Suite (Google Docs, sheets, etc)
